About
I'm a senior software developer and former CTO of Luscii, a Dutch digital health company. In 2024 I started building Padel Earnings as a side project — I wanted a single, accurate place to look up pro padel prize money, and it didn't exist, so I built it.
The site now tracks 900+ players across every Premier Padel and FIP Tour event, updated automatically after each tournament via official API integrations I wrote from scratch.
How I Work
Data sources
Earnings come from the Premier Padel (Padel API) and FIP official APIs. Every tournament prize structure is cross-checked against padelfip.com, padelalto.com, and padel-magazine.com before being published.
Update cadence
During live tournaments, earnings sync every four hours from the official draw API. After an event concludes, a second pass runs twice daily to catch any delayed results or corrections. FIP player rankings sync weekly every Monday.
Blog posts
Every article is written and edited by me — no AI-generated copy published without a human review pass. Prize figures in blog posts are sourced from the same database that powers the rankings, so they stay in sync as data is updated.
Error corrections
If you spot a wrong number, please email me. I take corrections seriously — wrong data hurts players and misleads fans. I'll fix it the same day and note the correction publicly where relevant.
