each for Coello and Tapia as partners in 2026. In the final they play for different flags.

Both World Cup finals in Doha are Spain against Argentina, and the passports split the best partnerships in padel. Arturo Coello plays for Spain, Agustín Tapia for Argentina. The women's number ones Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea (€252,650 each this season) are on opposite benches too, and so are Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger. The FIP put up €1,200,000 in prize money, more than any Premier Padel Major this year.

Women's final: Spain beat Argentina 2-0 and keep the title they won in 2024. Ariana Sánchez and Andrea Ustero won the first point 6-3, 6-3; then Triay, with Paula Josemaría, beat her own partner Brea and Claudia Jensen 6-2, 6-7, 6-3. In the men's final Coello and Tapia do not meet: Coello plays the third match with Jorge Nieto, Tapia the second with Chingotto.

How Much the Finalists Earned on Tour in 2026

The World Cup pays national teams, not pairs. On the tour the same players earn their own prize money, and that tells you how deep each squad is. Figures are 2026 prize money per player from our database (7 November), with the FIP ranking.

Men: Argentina the deeper squad

Argentina's eight men have earned €1,291,123 this season against €1,116,271 for Spain. The gap is mostly Federico Chingotto, the world number three, whose tour partner Alejandro Galán is missing from Spain's squad through injury; Javi Leal took his place.

Women: Spain 2.8x Argentina

Spain brings eight of the women's top eleven and €1,332,320 in 2026 prize money. Argentina's squad stands at €470,417, and more than half of that is Delfina Brea. On paper it is the most lopsided final; in the semi-final Argentina still beat Italy 2-0 without dropping a set.

A 2026 Premier Padel Major

€1,044,849

The FIP announced the €1,200,000 purse in July, when it confirmed Doha as host of the 2026 and 2028 World Cups. Men and women share it equally. That is about 15% more than the €1,044,849 paid at each of this year's Premier Padel Majors, for a tournament played by teams of eight.

Two things make it different from tour money. First, the FIP had not published a split by finishing place when this was written, so the value of the title is not known. Second, the money is awarded per national team, not per pair, so how much reaches each of the eight players depends on how the team shares it. That is why the World Cup does not appear in the individual earnings rankings.

Format & Groups

Sixteen men's and sixteen women's teams played a round robin in four groups of four from 2 to 4 November. The top two of each group went through to the quarter-finals; the other eight played for places 9 to 16. The venue, the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, also hosted the 2024 edition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who won the Padel World Cup 2026?
Spain won the women’s title, beating Argentina 2-0 in the final on 7 November 2026 in Doha: Ariana Sánchez and Andrea Ustero beat Aranzazu Osoro and Martina Fassio 6-3, 6-3, and Paula Josemaría and Gemma Triay beat Delfina Brea and Claudia Jensen 6-2, 6-7, 6-3. Italy took the women’s bronze, 2-0 over France. The men’s final, also Spain against Argentina, was played later the same evening.
When is the Padel World Cup 2026 final?
Both finals are on Saturday 7 November 2026 on the centre court of the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha. The women’s final, Spain against Argentina, starts at 14:00 Doha time (12:00 in Madrid, 08:00 in Buenos Aires). The men’s final, also Spain against Argentina, starts no earlier than 18:00 Doha time (16:00 in Madrid, 12:00 in Buenos Aires). The third-place ties come first: France against Italy for the women at 09:00 Doha time and Italy against Portugal for the men at 11:30.
How much prize money is there at the Padel World Cup 2026?
The FIP World Cup 2026 has a prize pool of €1.2 million, split equally between the men’s and women’s competitions, so €600,000 per draw. That is more than the €1,044,849 paid at each Premier Padel Major in 2026. The FIP announced the purse in July 2026 together with Doha as host of the 2026 and 2028 editions. A breakdown per finishing place had not been published at the time of writing, and the money goes to national teams rather than to pairs, so it does not show up in individual player earnings the way a Premier Padel cheque does.
How does the Padel World Cup format work?
Sixteen men’s and sixteen women’s national teams play in four groups of four, a round robin from 2 to 4 November. The top two of each group reach the quarter-finals on 5 November, the semi-finals are on 6 November and the medal ties on 7 November. Every tie between two nations is three doubles matches: the first team to win two takes the tie. The other eight nations play off for places 9 to 16.
Who won the last Padel World Championship?
At the previous edition, also in Doha in 2024, Argentina won the men’s title and Spain the women’s. Both defend their titles in the 2026 finals, and both finals are again Spain against Argentina, the rivalry that has decided almost every world team title in padel.
Who is in the Spain and Argentina squads?
Spain men: Arturo Coello, Juan Lebrón, Miguel Yanguas, Paquito Navarro, Jon Sanz, Jorge Nieto, Javi Leal and Aimar Goñi (Leal replaced the injured Alejandro Galán). Argentina men: Agustín Tapia, Federico Chingotto, Franco Stupaczuk, Martín Di Nenno, Leo Augsburger, Gonzalo Alfonso, Valentino Libaak and Maxi Arce. Spain women: Gemma Triay, Paula Josemaría, Ariana Sánchez, Claudia Fernández, Bea González, Andrea Ustero, Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo. Argentina women: Delfina Brea, Claudia Jensen, Aranzazu Osoro, Martina Fassio, Virginia Riera, Julieta Bidahorria, María Laura Ferreyra and Victoria Vilchez.
Which tour partners play against each other in the final?
The world number ones split by passport. Gemma Triay (Spain) and Delfina Brea (Argentina), partners on tour with €252,650 each in 2026, met in the second match of the women’s final: Triay and Paula Josemaría beat Brea and Claudia Jensen 6-2, 6-7, 6-3. In the men’s final Juan Lebrón (with Aimar Goñi) opens against his tour partner Leo Augsburger (with Martín Di Nenno). Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, who earned €414,700 each together this season, do not face each other: Tapia and Chingotto play Navarro and Sanz, and Coello and Jorge Nieto play Gonzalo Alfonso and Valentino Libaak.
How to watch the Padel World Cup 2026 final?
The FIP streams the World Cup on its YouTube channel and Red Bull TV carries the centre court in many countries. In Spain Movistar Plus+ has the rights from the quarter-finals. beIN SPORTS covers France, the USA, Canada, Australia, the Middle East and South-East Asia, Sport TV covers Portugal, SuperTennis covers Italy and KNLTB TV covers the Netherlands. Availability depends on your country.
